The issue of Famous Monsters that was never printed

There is a copy of former publisher Ray Ferry's Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, issue #250,
floating around in the web.

In a deal finalized with a signed agreement on Sunday, April 18, 2010, Famous Monsters of Filmland (in the person of Philip Kim) acquired the rights to publish FM #250 from former publisher Ray Ferry. Contrary to internet rumors, no physical copies of this issue were ever printed. The delivery was in a PDF format of print ready files. After reviewing the PDF material, the FM staff has decided to prepare and produce an issue in line with fans’ expectations.

According to Ray Ferry, he is

releasing the complete content of what I intended to
be FMOF #250 as a special stand-alone publication titled "We Got By With A Little
Help From Our Fiends". The title has been chosen so as to avoid confusion with
the official FMOF #250 being put together by Mr. Kim's staff.
