- Started in 1947 as KFL KNIPSELS, an 'informationbulletin' for the members of the KFL (Katholieke Filmliga) Antwerpen.
- In 1956 became a real film magazine, named FILM EN TELEVISIE.
- Changed name to "film | tv | dvd" in 2004.
- Changed again into FILMMAGIE in January 2006.
- Published ten times a year (not in June and August) and has 56 pages.
- Published by Filmmagie vzw
