- At the beginning of 1980, Hachette Filipacchi bought the title.
- Since 1987 clones of Premiere appear in many countries.
LE FILM COMPLET
1922-1958
- Ceased publication
- Fierce weekly competitor to Mon Film.
- Filled with massive photo-stills from silent films.
- Started as a supplement of the periodical Mon Cine.
- Before WWII it was published 2 times every week and since 1927 three times. More than 2.600 issues were published from 1922 to 1944.
- During WWII, there was a gap between #2430 and #2431, 25th June 1940 and 23rd October 1940. It resumed publishing from then until at least #2616 June 1944.
It began again as a weekly publication in 1945 and numbering restarted from #1.
- Incorporated in MON FILM since 1958.
MON FILM
1924-1972
- Ceased publication
- Famous for printing full movie scripts as novels.
- Let fans "re-watch" films at home through text.
- Founded by George Ventillard and Pierre Henry in 1924.
- A weekly, popular journal.
- Had features like 'Film of the week', VIP portraits, readers' letters.
- Incorporating Cine Pour Tous since 1951.
- In 1958 it merged with its rival Film Complet .
- Some issues are published as "Mon Film Special" or "Mon Photo-roman Prefere".
